How to Create a New User Account in Windows 8

Windows 8 can allow users to create and login as a Local account or a Microsoft account. A local account is local to your computer while a Microsoft account is a Windows Live ID that is integrated with all of Windows online services. The following article will teach you how to create a local user account in Window 8 computer.

Step 1: Log in your computer as the Administrator. You need to log in your computer as the administrator, if you want to get the priviledge to create, change and delete accounts as well as assign permissions to each user on the computer.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and click Log Off, then log into Administrator.



Step 2: Move your mouse cursor to the top or bottom right corner of the screen, and then click Settings.

Step 3: Then click Change Computer Settings

Step 4: Under PC Settings, click Users and then scroll down, choose Add a user.

Step 5: If you do not have an account with Windows, you can click Sign in without a Microsoft account.

Step 6: Fill in the information and then click next when you finish filling in.
