How to Create a New User Account in Windows XP

In case you want to share yor computer with many users, but do not want them to access or modify your files, pictures or any other private file data, you can create a new user account for each one. In this article, you will learn how to create a new user account on Windows XP computer system.

Step 1: Log in your computer as the Administrator. With a computer administrator account, you can create, change and delete accounts as well as access all files on the computer. In order to create a new account, you should log in as the administrator.

Step 2: Click Start menu and click Control Panel.

Step 3: Click User Accounts. You can manage all user accounts here.

Step 4: Click Create a new account.

Step 5: Give a username for the new account and then click Next.

Step 6: Pick an account type for the new account and then click Create Account.
