Many people report to us that they have ever received or are encountering various popups or pop-up windows, such as s.m2pub.com popups and Rvzr-a.akamaihd.net popups. Actually, popups are caused by certain adware which is mainly created to promote products and gain benefits. Popups are either a hassle or a danger to the system, whether they are spam, pornographic or plain unnecessary. They could appear once the web browser like Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari is open or suddenly on the visiting websites. According to our research, popups are likely to attract, request or threaten users to download certain programs, to type in personal data to get revenue, to pay for comparable products or to play funny online games, and so on. If those unknown windows usually appear without the victim’s consent, they would be much troublesome. Some could even lead the victim into dangerous web pages to download risky PC threats like Trojans, spyware and worms. Under such circumstance, further damage will be caused.

Here, we will show some useful tips to help remove popups from web browsers and stop unwanted windows from popping up.

Method One—— Enable popup blocking from web browsers. Usually, browsers themselves contain an ads blocking function or setting.

Internet Explorer
Click Tools, then Internet Options, and then select Privacy tab. Then tick “Turn on Pop-up Blocker”.

Mozilla Firefox
Click Tools, then Options, and then go to Content tab. Tick “Block pop-up windows”.

Google Chrome
Click the wrench icon, then Settings, and click Under the Hood. Click Content and scroll down to Pop-ups, and then tick “Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended)”.

Method Two——Bolster the Internet Privacy from Hard Drive

First: Click Start button, then Control Panel, and then select Internet Options tab.

Second: Go to Privacy tab, then tick “Turn on Pop-up Blocker”.

Third: Click Settings and select “High: Block all pop-ups (Ctrl+ Alt to override)” below Blocking level. Then click “Close” then “Apply”.

Method Three——Uninstall suspicious adware programs

But if you accidentally install an unwanted adware in the system, you need to uninstall the program.
Click Start button, then Control Panel. Click Uninstall a Program or Programs or Features. Scroll down the list, find and remove suspicious and unknown software like SpadeCast adware, SaveDailyDeals adware, RightSaver adware, and GreatCoupon adware.

How to prevent adware from accessing the Operating System

Without doubt, adware is not a good tool to the system. It can be categorized as an unwanted program which could be bundled with free programs to infiltrate into the system. That is, when you download a certain free application from the Internet, some unneeded or malicious programs like adware would be installed to the machine as well. In such case, it is highly advised to pay much attention to the installation processes. Besides, it is not wise to download programs from unknown or unverified web pages. In addition, adware can be dropped to spam e-mails or attachments. In details, hackers could disguise adware as an executable file in the e-mail attachments. Once you open the attachments, the malicious adware will take a chance to invade the system. Last but not least, it is kindly recommended that you install a professional anti-virus or anti-spyware to safeguard the system.

Anyway, the earlier you remove adware infections, the better it will be.
